Note Names on the Staff

Each line and space on the staff represents a pitch-name.  The pitch names read upwards, from bottom to top.

Note Names on the Treble Staff

On a treble staff, the second line from the bottom is G.  Therefore, the note names on the treble staff are as follows:

On a bass staff, the second line from the top is F.  Therefore, the note names on the bass staff are as follows:
