As you may know, Spirited Away is one of my favorite films. I was surprised to find that these little guys had made their way into one of my Christmas presents, containing a replacement cookbook. Or, maybe it was the original cookbook that had gone missing...and they were returning it!!

Here's a scene from the film:

They like to eat the little stars that you use to decorate cakes. Fortunately I had some on hand!

They're soo adorable.. the candy's actually called konpeito and it tastes like rock candy.
