God is not a man, that He should lie,
nor a son of man, that He should change His mind.
— Numbers 23:19

God never breaks His promise.  He is true and trustworthy, and He will never, ever, ever go back on His word.  "The Lord is faithful to all His promises and loving toward all He has made." (Psalm 145:13)  Here are just a few of His promises:

Everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.
— John 6:40
I am the resurrection and the life.  He who believes in Me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in Me will never die.
— John 11:25-26
Whoever comes to Me I will never drive away.
— John 6:37
The one who trusts in Him will never be put to shame.
— Romans 9:33
In my Father's house are many rooms... I am going there to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with Me, that you also may be where I am.
— John 14:2-3
I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
— John 14:18
I will never leave you nor forsake you.
— Joshua 1:5
Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
— Matthew 28:20
