When's the last time you bought a book?  Or checked one out of the library?  Or even read something off your shelf?  When I think about how the people in Tanzania were so desperate for any bit of scripture in their own language that they literally tore apart the only available copy of the Gospel of Mark, I think how much we take for granted the amazing blessing of having so many books and other printed materials so readily available to us.

Click here to read the article, and consider if you might be willing to contribute something to help bring God's word to the nearly 2 million people in Tanzania and Uganda who are so hungry for it.

For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is His love for those who fear Him;
as far as the east is from the west,
so far has He removed our transgressions from us.
As a father has compassion on his children,
so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him;
for He knows how we are formed,
He remembers that we are dust.
— Psalm 103:11-14
